The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a new norm: social distancing. Although we don’t know how long extra measures to protect the public will be in place, businesses in reopening and rebuilding efforts will need to have some health- and safety-related products both with and without logos. Don’t forget that providing these items – even if unimprinted – will go a long way with customers. They’ll remember you were the one who helped them stay safe, healthy and protected when they needed it most.
Masks Are Very 2020
Since early April 2020, the CDC has recommended face coverings be worn by anyone in public. Healthcare workers should have FDA-certified N95 masks, and to make sure those masks go to hospitals, surgery centers and doctors’ offices, it’s suggested that everyone else wears other types of masks, coverings or bandannas. For any open businesses, it’s a good idea to outfit all your employees with masks and even hand them out to customers. If your employees are still working from home, sending them a mask is a nice way to thank them for all their hard work. Of course, adding your logo is a bonus, but you can also opt for unimprinted disposable masks, which make an impression even without your name.
Keep Germs at Bay
Hand sanitizers have never been so popular. Whether you want a gel, lotion or spray bottle, your customers will appreciate the gesture. Add your logo, website, social media handles and other contact information to the label. You can even add a cool hashtag and recommend customers post themselves with your giveaway. Consider including hand sanitizer in a welcome-back gift for employees and customers. This is excellent for promoting your brand and killing germs all at once.
Gain Entry at Less Than 100.4 Degrees
Many offices and businesses are taking temperatures of employees before they enter. The CDC says anyone with a temperature lower than 100.4 degrees, without a cough or shortness of breath, could be allowed to enter the business as long as management feels comfortable. Give out logoed thermometers to companies you conduct business with, and you’ll get daily exposure. Don’t forget to also get a tent to put outside your business so employees getting their temperatures taken are shielded from the weather.
Get Pointed in the Right Direction
The importance of displays and signage can’t be underestimated. Directional signage is helpful and greatly appreciated by people doing their best to social distance. Something as simple as a “Come In. We’re Open.” sign can bring more business your way, and 6-foot markers at the checkout will help keep customers and employees mindful of being safe. You can also add floor decals to show which direction guests should walk. Last but not least, don’t miss an opportunity to build your brand and add a logo to all signs, displays and decals.
